At Greenwood Christian Life, we have taken a fresh approach to church. Timeless principles combined with distinctively contemporary methods make GCL an exceptional place.

We promise that we will not embarrass you by asking you to stand or come down front. You won't have to wear anything that distinguishes you from anyone else, and no one will badger you for personal information. No one will show up on your doorstep and you are not expected to contribute financially to this ministry... you are our guest. All we ask is that if you have any questions about God or are seeking a church to become a part of, that you give GCL a chance.

 

At GCL, children are as vital of a part of the Sunday service as the adults. We offer excellent childcare in our two year olds and nursery facilities. Classes are offered for 3-4 year olds and for 5-6 year olds in our downstairs classrooms designed especially for small children. If your kids are between 7-12 years of age, they will meet in the upstairs classrooms after worship time.

We have a variety of ministries to help people tackle the tough issues we often face. We just ended our 2005 JBQ (Junior Bible Quiz) season. JBQ offers activities and challenging games for children in grades Kindergarten through 6th. They also enjoy traveling to local quiz meets! The youth group meets every Wednesday night from 7-8:00 to discuss the difficult issues they face on a daily basis. Various activities are planned such as euchre tournaments, paint ball, and game nights for us "big kids". Other activities include classes on budgeting, raising children, prayer, and Gear 1 (our informative class on GCL). Please feel free to join us for any activity. You're always welcome!
